Most of our Windows laptops started life in offices. They were built to be dropped in bags and used eight hours a day, and they are far tougher than a new laptop at the same price.
Forty points, every time
Screen, keyboard, every port, speakers, camera, wifi, battery health and storage. Anything that fails is replaced or the laptop does not go on sale. Data is wiped to a recognised standard.
90 days to be sure
If anything we tested stops working in the first 90 days, we repair it, replace it or refund it. Call us any hour and talk to a person, not a ticket system.
Before you order
Light signs of use at most, such as faint marks on the lid or base that you do not notice from arm's length. The screen has no scratches you can see when it is on. Keyboard, trackpad and every port work as new.
Every battery is tested and must hold at least 80 percent of its original capacity. Expect most of a working day on Chromebooks and the ThinkPads, and a few hours less on older MacBooks under heavy use.
Yes. Every Windows laptop we sell has an 8th generation Intel processor or newer, which Microsoft supports for Windows 11, and ships with Windows 11 Pro installed and activated.
Each MacBook ships with the newest macOS Apple supports for that model. Apple no longer sends security updates to the 2017 models, so we suggest those for light use. The 2019 models are the better choice for work, banking and anything sensitive.
Yes. Any laptop or accessory can come back within 30 days of delivery in the condition it arrived, with everything that came in the box. The refund page has the details.
We do not run trade ins yet. If you are selling or recycling an old laptop, sign out of every account and reset it first. Call us and we will talk you through it for free.
